IFAT Environmental Technology Forum Africa, which celebrated its premiere from September 15 to 18, 2015 in Johannesburg, has positioned itself strongly in the African market. The first edition saw over 2 273 trade visitors from 38 countries engage with 116 exhibitors from 13 countries, taking up over 4 500 square meters. In addition, the trade fair boasted a high-caliber forum program. The next edition, IFAT Africa 2017, trade fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse and Recycling, will take place in Johannesburg from September 12-14, 2017.

This year, the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) as well as the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) are supporting a German group participation, to develop and foster business relations between South African and German companies. The German Pavilion is giving 20 companies the possibility to present their excellent products and to offer their renowned services to key players and decision makers from all over India. DWA as the German Association for Water, Wastewater and Waste and one of the initiating associations for the German joint stand is accompanying the German delegation and providing professional advice. Should you be interested in detailed information on trade or on economic relations with Germany, please do not hesitate to visit the German Pavilion.
